clutch bite point

hi all,

after recently driving a hire car for 2 weeks, ive noticed that my bite point is really far up like almost at the top and its started to drive me a tad crazy! is there anyway of adjusting it so its further down?

I heard it is quit common on renault cars. Adjustment isn't really easy or at all possible

Most Renault sport models have high bitting points.
