Clutch cable Ph1 172

  X-172 Cup
just picked up my new Ph1 172 and there a couple of small jobs which I want to do, the first being the clutch. The operation feels a bit tight so I wondered what the best way was to lube the clutch cable, can it be done from under the hood? or is it best to get under the car?

The actual operation of the clutch is fine, in fact it changes gear better than my cup but the cable definately needs some oil somewhere...

Any advice would be ace - thanks

Don't buy a non-genuine clutch cable. Get one from Renault and only from Renault, thereby making sure it's the right part. It takes an hour and a half for someone like me to fit one (and I have zero patience). In other words, it isn't difficult to do it yourself and there was a sticky posted to show you how somewhere.

Cheers, Rob669
