Clutch gone at 35k?!

today whilst going up a steepish hill at about 75 in 5th my clutch seemed to be slipping about 200 rpm (when putting foot down at about 2800rpm), is this deffinatly a gone clutch or are there are things which can cause these symptomns?

drive in 5th gear at 20mph or so and floor it and see what it does. if its going it will slip if its ok it will pull normally

Could be a gearbox seal gone and affected the clutch.

200rpm ins't exactly a huge slipping clutch have you ownered the car all the time could be a ridden cliutch.
