Clutch...kapoot!

I'm back to having to drive the shared Astra (mine and the mrs) it's nice and all but...I want the clio back!

When the clutch pedal is pressed there is a lot of screeching like metal rubbing..i get people looking at me on a daily basis (because of the ktec stealth exhaust) but i seem to get a hell of a lot more weird looks when I'm changing gear now

I have read on here it's due to the bearing or something?

Anyone know if this is the case and is there anywhere in the Bedfordshire area where I can get a new clutch fitted if so?
