Clutch fork is wobbling back and forth (towards and away from clutch)- no sideways movement in it (towards and away from rad/firewall)

Pivot bearing or throw out?

Causes vibration you can feel through floor and pedals at idle and to either side of 3k rpm.

Worse when air con put on at idle

Calms down when engine at temp but doesn't go. Stops completely when clutch operated.

Potential cost for gearbox removal and bearings changed?

I'm ruling out input shaft as it goes when the clutch is pressed.

I'd want a lift/ramp to do it myself but don't really feel comfy mucking around with drive shafts. If anyone is in Kent and feels they could do the job then let me know and you may have an earner if you can provide proof you've taken off and re-installed a gearbox before.
