Clutch on 172 cup, which ways best?

need a bit of advice doing my clutch on my cup and was wondering which way would be easyist to do

Unbolt the steering rack by the four bolts so the whole sub frame can come down.

Or unbolt the UJ collum joint of the steering collum, but then the sub frame wont be able to drop right down because of the PAS pipes.

Also any other little tips that would be helpful would be great

lower subframe and take it out passengers side wheel arch

so leave the drivers side two sub frame bolts in (but loose), then what do i do with the rack?

Leave the rack in place.

yh there is a guide but he removes his engine in his and pulls the box out the top

Leave the engine in the bay. Support it with a jack and wood while the box comes out of the passenger side wheel arch.

Easy. Ish.
