Clutch pedal feel, travel and bite point.....

  BMW M135i; Clio 172
In my quest to find a 172, I've now driven 3 of them.........2 of them had clutch pedals with what seemed like minimal travel and both felt quite heavy. The third one, however, which has had a new clutch fitted within the last couple of months, was much lighter to depress and had more travel, but the bite point was disconcertingly high. I liked this last car but the comparison to the other two cars made me question whether the clutch fitment is OK. I've searched the forums and it seems the bite point isn't adjustable either.

Do you think there's any cause for concern?

I've had 2 172's and they both had short travel heavy clutches. Had a spin in somebody else's 172 on the weekend and it was the same as both mine so I say this is the norm in my experience.
