Clutch question

My clutch has decided to pack up on my 1.2 without any warning of slipping and whatever but less of that. It's done so I know I'm going to have to spend a bit.. I've been quoted £250 for the fitting because apparently the sub frame is a pain in the a**.

Can an anyone recommend a good link for a clutch?

Get on Euro Car Parts.

Stick to LUK, Sachs or Valeo.

As above £250 is pretty much what auto data reccomends most places that specialise in gearboxes etc might be able to so it cheaper I got £180 from a specialist near to me because of work but Ecp only list an luk clutch for up to 2001 and then valeo from there after .. Don't know if there's a difference? They can also get u a paddle or updated clutch if u ask but I'm sure there on the £300 bench mark and probably overkill for yourself

Would only put a genuine clutch in as they are not that pricey and give the best results , have had customers bring there own but borg & beck ended up with a heavy pedal and was not a pleasure to drive :dapprove: valeo are normaly good .
