Clutch release bearing?

  clio dynamique 1.6
I think my clutch release bearing is going knackered as there is a noise when I dip my clutch, I have been told just to leave it and it's not worth doing, and its just because of the cold weather, but what will happen if it goes completely? Will it cause alot of damage and how much is it to fix?

Its just worn out, best to change it tbh, but while you have the gearbox off to change it might aswell stick a new clutch on(if its not been done)

Wont cause any damage and will probably run fine like that for many thousands of miles.

I would leave until you need your clutch doing or until it gets a lot worse.

Mine was like that on my MX5. It used to go away when it got warm though. It was like that for about 10 months and was fine, just made sure I got it nice and warm when I traded it in ;)
