Clutch

My car's going in to the garage tomorrow as i think my clutch has gone. When i put the accelerator down the engine revs, but i go nowhere!! I've just looked on here and ppl are saying only to get a genuine renault clutch & cable. Will the garage order these, or do i have to buy it and give it to them. Will the garage ask what make i want or will they just do it?

Sorry, don't know much about this kind of thing, never taken my car to a garage before!

only way to garuntee what clutch they put in is if you go and buy it and give it to them

go see nick at hillpower, he's not far from nottingham and is as honnest as they come!

when you take it in jsut ask the garage to use genuine renault parts.

Lol used a genuine clutch in mine and it's lasted less than 500 miles

If they don't use genuine renault parts will the clutch feel different, as i quite like the way my clutch is now, very high if u know what i mean?

never had to replace a clutch mate, so dont know

it'll feel different anyway as the new cltuch won't be worn

Mustn't have been fitted right ort other problems.

Stock clutch is better made than most out there.
