Clutch

  clio 1.2
Hey guys i bought a 1.2 clio and the clutch has packed up on me, only had it 2 days lol.

im thinking of doing it myself, i mean i can do a lot of things ive just done a rover turbo headgasket and i done a escort heater matrix so im pretty confident but this is my first clutch

im told its just bolts basicly and get some help with removing the box due to weight.

also i was wondering do i need to remove the subframe or anything to drop the box?

Cheers

drop subframe down on gearbox side and slide gearbox out a bit, then theres just enogh room to get a new clutc in. it is easier if u take the subframe right off.

just remove everything attached to the box basically

Easy, just drop the subby. Saves alot of time and hassle. Iv just done one with a mate and had it in and out in 3 hours.
