Cobra alarm in williams

when my car is locked i can use the cobra fob to disable the alarm and open the doors at the same time, should it do the same when locking it? i.e when i lock it, should it activate the alarm and lock the doors as well?

god dammit, mine doesnt, it wont lock the doors with the cobra fob and my central locking has died altogether now and my side light has blown and my electric windows are on the blink!!!!!!!! my williams is on a downward spiral!!

LOL mine caused havoc a month ago - I wont say the outcome as my insurance company may not like it.
