Cobra Daytona seat fitting help

I've just bought some Cobra Daytonas. Can anyone help with the wiring though? I've seen the guide on here and it's very useful but it's not specifically answering my question I'm afraid.

I had some Sportline Recaros (electric trendlines) in the car previously and didn't have any issue with the Airbag and SERV lights, now I've put the Cobras in I have these 2 lights on my dash and only the grey/yellow plug hooked up (the 2 black clips/plugs seem to be redundant?).

Is this correct - in which case I need the 3.3 Ohm resistors to turn the lights off and this will get the car through an MOT? And this won't prevent my steering wheel and dashboard airbags going off?

In summary - the grey/yellow plugs are for the seatbelt warning beeper, the black plugs are for 'seat position sensor' (What's the purpose of this exactly?) and the bigger black plug is for the airbags in the standard 172 seats in the side bolsters (which the Daytonas of course don't have).

Do I even need the plug from the seat for the passenger? Do I just do the resistor thing on the wires from the car to the seat?
