Cobra Monaco vs Sparco Sprint

there both VERY similar seats

ive sat in a Monaco before and that was reasonably comfy, is the Sprint any better/worse for comfort

ive got a fair bit of Sparco stuff so ideally id like the Sprint

however, Cobra are now offering a 3 year guarantee on all there seats, which is definitely something to consider

oh an please dont suggest more expensive seats, i wouldnt be able to afford them !........and i dont like any of the other brands ones in my price range

i know its another brand but i think im getting a pair of corbeau forza sport. Nice seats and not too pricey at all.

i have cobra monacos and they are comfy unless you do a lot of travelling and they give you a proper numb ass!!

they are lovely seats tho not sure what the other ones are and have never tried them tbh

I have Cobra Clubmans.. there gorgeous seats, and very comfy to.. but still gives that rally sl*g look.

Trust me... dont!

Ive got one out of my R5 track car and its f*cking uncomfy after youve sat in it a while!

Wouldnt recommend one for a road car.

Looks a nice seat, decent spec, but sit in one to check for fitment & comfort.

Looks similar, but perhaps not as much padding for your back.



Dont cut corners and buy a cheap seat, or youll regret it!

the cobra monaco and sparco sprint are the same seat, except the sprint doesnt have a crotch strap hole for 5 or 6 point harnesses the sparco has slighlty more ass padding, but that can be overcome with the monacos by buying some cussions they do for them now that are cut to fit, and have extra back pads... cost about 30 quid a cusion...

Can I just ask to people with bucket seats if you have kept seat belt or got harnesses?

If harnesses, how are they mounted in the back? Any pics at all?

I have Bucket seats, And when i put them in, the left the seat belts in... but only cause there apparently a pain in the arse to get out. I have 3 point Harnesss. I will upload a picture later of how there strapped in.. the image uploader doesnt seem to be working at the moment.

Isnt it illegal to remove seatbelts?

I would personally save up for a better seat there BRUN, both of the mentioned ones arent good enough for road use..unless youre into getting a sore, red ass!

Well i got pulled by the police cos they thought i didnt have a seatbelt one, when i actually had a harness on. When they saw the harness they were fine, and buggered off!

Itll only fail an MOT if the mounting points you use for the harnesses are crap and not strong enough.

to be legal you have to be able to do them up with one hand so that means no aircraft buckle type ones

I heard that 3 point harnesses are illegal and that you need 4 point ones for on the road.

i passed my MOT and mine has:

3 point harnesses

no old seat belts

Air craft-like clips

they just have to be safe thats all!

Bubbles still lovin those seats, those matchin door cards?
