OK guys..I have a few people on here getting me prices on various amounts of misano's..

Just need a rough idea of who is definately in for this? obviously price depending..but..who will actually go through with it if the price is good!

they will hopefully be black leather with the centres in black alcontara, with black carbon backs and the choice of deleting the harness slots..(much nicer IMHO)

obviously clio frames included..should be a nice match for the standard interior!

good luck with this, its a quality seat and worth more than engine mods. You can actually drive the car properly with a seat like this!!

You can also delete the "Cobra" stitching too, might interest those of you who want to keep the standard look.

Let me know...I'm a 5 min drive from Cobra head office so can visit them for best prices and deals...I managed to get some of the lads in there last November...they were having a factory clearout....

For the cheaper version of the Misano's (a pair with stainless steel and plastic rather than carbon and aluminium) they were approx £630 inc subframes IIRC...and they can do stitching of your choice on the seat if thats what floats your boat.

A pair of Daytonas inc MK2 Clio subframes was £430 and that would have included stitching...I was gonna do it, but my old exhaust died 3 days later! :dapprove:

If you let me know what you want, I can contact Marc over there and see what he can do for you!!!

I can't promise miracles...but they were doing decent prices when we were there, plus...its probably better to go direct, as shops have their markup!

Would need a list of who would want what, colours, fabrics, etc www.cobraseats.com

And whether any options were wanted, then I could get the price for each...and if people wanted to pay that, then could get them to go ahead. You'd be getting receipts, so I wouldn't be ripping people off. Although you would need to factor courier into the equation...as they would need to be delivered.

Don't know Deb...Mandy (My other half) is 4' 9" in height...The subframes would make the seats a little lower, don't know if they (the frames) can be fabricated to make them a bit taller???

they are a fair bit lower than the recaros but the adjustability means you can still see over the dash lol

my sisters 5ft1 and can drive mine ok

Just asking as they were gonna do us different colours, stitching options as part of the deal. I was gonna get my name done in it, even though it would make my seat unsellable! :dead:

But as I've said before...people would need to factor in courier service to get the seats to their homes...or even...arrange a meet in Telford, and then go to the factory for those who would be willing to pick their seats up in person...

just got off the phone to cobra themselves..

they want £799 per seat and £75 per frame for 1 set..

they said some cracking discounts will be available for group buys..but they need numbers...i tried to explain that people wont commit without a rough price...but..they didnt want to quote a price, I have to mail them asking for prices on 5 sets +, 10 sets + etc..

they can do all alcontara for the same price...quite steep though!!!

"Thank you for your e-mail. If you could get 5 sets of seats and subframes together, we would be happy to do these at 30% off the retail prices.

If you could give me an idea of what everyone is after, along with the trim specifications and i'll then get back to you with exact prices."

So its 30% off retail. but need exact specs for them to be able to give accurate price.

So if 5 people can get an order in (I know what you want already Colin! ) Then can see if we can get more for 5+...

Colin, I know its a fair drive down...but you could sample the seats first hand if you went to the factory...or try to source somewhere nearby and see what you think!
