That is mint! Always wanted something like this, but I would probably use a slightly rarer engine, a valver nut though would go mad for this.

Looks great, will be a mere to move though, especially if you have a thick rug like carpet. I have always fancied those bucket seat style individual seats/sofas, but the recaro ones are so expensive.

probably weighs about 40kg, so not ideal for postage!

the inside of the head is glossy black, outside polished metal.

tis built better than the car it came from;)

Hmmm...I need a coffee table...

Not sure I could pull off having a piece of Clio sat in my lounge though. My mates might think I've taken the Clio obsession a bit too far :S

Love to have one made using a F1 wheel of Ferrari V10

Good effort though!

Il size it up today and let you kinow the dimensions, its quite low so good for a lounge or waiting room;)

Not deep enough.....unless your table is going to be the width of the wheel off the floor.

I've got a rim off a Formula 3 car at home which I am thinking about turning into a coffee table...it's pretty wide though so on it's end is just right height wise for a table.

without the oak its only 25cm high... too low.

the brabus rim is 8" wide IIRC, so yea could be high enough, but need to fix the glass to it securely, alloys are slippy

I understand that's why you used the oak to get the height.

8 wide is still going to be a low table

yea 8" prob would be too low, I meant with something under it or some legs lie this tvr wheel table>

wheels as tables has been done too many times before though

I am going to give this a go this summer but with an alloy.

That TVR one looks pretty sweet IMO.

Anyone know where you would be able to source those struts that come out the alloy holes?

And where would you source the glass for the table top?

Thanks

Sam
