Coilover choice advice

Hopefully I can get some good input here as I've been struggling for a long time to decide what to go for.

My car is a 182 Cup, so I need 60mm bolt spacing.

I need something which will go low on the rear, the car is fully stripped and has 2 bucket seats in and not a lot else. It will have a roll cage soon though so it will have a little bit of weight back in it.

I have a slight issue though, I want a full coilover all round as I've seen that certain kits (Bilstein for example) sit very high when the rear is stripped, unless someone can tell me otherwise?

I'd like something with adjustable dampers as the car will only really be used for track and will very rarely be on the road, only to and from circuits, comfort is not really an issue.

Obviously my options are limited because of the criteria, there seems to only be a few brands available - Spax, Gaz, Avo, AST and Ktec's 750MC kit, plus a few non-coilover rears - H&R, Bilstein and BC.

So first of all, can anyone tell me for sure if a separate rear spring setup will go low enough with no weight in?

Can anyone tell me what would be best for pure track use? (other than the ASTs as my budget won't really allow them)

And finally, does anyone have an experience with any of the brands I've mentioned on the Clio, how were they?

I have tried searching but none of the threads really answer my questions :(

I think the Avo are non coilover rear. Also I'm not sure if they're available with 60mm spacing, same with the BCs.

Gaz are non coilover rear.

The H&R and Bilstein lack damping adjustment.

Wouldn't touch the Spax or Ktec's rebranded price hiked Spax.

That leaves AST!

Bc and Gaz are now both available with 60mm spacing.

What's the reason behind not going near the Spax stuff?

Avo only make one kit for the Clio currently - GTX. Height adjustable all round, mono tube inverted fronts, twin tube rears, damping adjustable for bump and rebound (single knob), choice of spring rates, in stock, available in cup fitting and on your doorstep in Northampton. Not cheap though - I've just bought a set.

I don't want it low I just don't want it to sit higher than it does with an interior in like the Bilsteins apparently do.

Could leave the spring platforms out? Personally I'd rather good coilovers than something like spax. Had some bc coilovers on my mr2, very decent.
