Coilover Firmness/Softness for track days

Im looking for a bit of advice. I've got a short 3hour track day on wednesday at oulton park and im running FK Silverline X coilovers. These are adjustable in damping on the front and rear, I usually run them on full softness for day-to-day driving just for comfort.

As I understand putting them on full firmness or full softness will not be ideal as there needs to be a compromise either way.

So the question is should I adjust them so they are half way between firm and soft on all 4 dampers? I am NOT looking to get the professionally set up.

Pop them half way and then tweek them everytime you come in if you can, until you find a setup you like :)

Max stiffness on the rear, as soft as possible on the front without rubbing.

Gotta agree with this as an initial setup to begin with. I have fully stiff at the rear and kept stiffening the front more and more until I had a setup that felt right for me.
