coilovers and stealth

'I wont modify this one' when i bought my ph 1 172.... but kinda changed my mind.

my exhaust is on the way out so im considering a K-tec stealth and there silenced decat pipe, but would i be better going to a custom exhaust fabricator than buying an off the shelf system, i will still buy a de cat pipe, but would a custom stealth style exhaust be a better option than an off the shelf?

also i am wanting some coilovers and they have to feature adjustable dampening as i like is soft and sometimes hard!? FK are the first to come into my head but dont really want to pay more than £600 for a set? what are the options?

H and R personally not sure if £650 engouht I think £650 maybe.

The exhaust will depend on where you go if you decide on custom. Some places are s**t others are very good, prospeed are a company along with hayward and scott that always seem to impress. The benefit of custom over off the shelf will mean you can specify how many silencers the bore of the pipe etc to tailor the volume and flow to what you want. It will mean that you have to set some time aside for them to make it up though whereas the off the shelf item could be thrown on in under 20mins.

Depends on what FKs you get as IIRC the cheaper models dont have damping adjustment. H&R's are awesome but if you are planning on being able to set it rock hard for track and soften for road then you are out of luck as they are fixed damping. Tbh though the spring and damping rates are so well chosen unless you track alot then i think you'll be more than happy with the H&R's. As for price have a dig around and drop me a PM as i can get H&R's at a good price.
