Coilovers arrived

  Ollie's Silver Cup
I'll have to see what Gaz say today, as when Mike from Corby motorsport spoke to them yesterday they told him both 172 cup and 182 cup use 60mm hole spacing.

As they're built to order, as such, I think it would be difficult getting them to accept a return.

I'm surprised the manufacturer (Gaz) have sent a 60mm kit and are stating that they've sent the correct kit for a 172 cup :dead:

As said just get them to call Renault/ktec/Vmax to ask what the hole spacing is. Even mr boombastic knows what the correct hole spacing is.

Having spoken directly to someone at Gaz this morning, things are looking much more promising!

The guy was very helpful and said it will be sorted :) I've just got in from work and they've left a message on answer phone, so I'll have to give them a ring back tomorrow from work as there's nobody there now :)

Having spoken directly to Gaz and a guy called Andy (who was very helpful and understanding in sorting it out) the front struts are being collected tomorrow and will be replaced with 54mm versions :D

TBH, without this guys help, I doubt anything would have progressed at all! So top marks on the customer service front from that particular guy :)

Have fun with them... and you'll be spending a few months finding out what settings to have the dampers at. They can go stupidly hard, to the point where you can't drive over a flat road without bouncing out of your seat.
