Wondering if the FK/HR coilovers are just front ride height adjustable. Which ones are rated as the best??? And what else has to be set up on the car if they are fitted and how much??
I was going to get H&Rs on my cup but had a sudden change of heart (and car) but speak to Fred at YozzaSport, was a great help when I was considering it, and good prices.
I am getting FKs because they are much cheaper. They are harder than the H&Rs so aren't as friendly on the road from reports i have heard.
As far as i know there hasn't been sufficient testing to say one is better than the other, but the H&Rs are dearer so you would think something about them is better!
Both are non adjustable damping but you can get more expensive FKs with adjustment. If you are looking to do track work i would ONLY get suspension with adjustment.
i have FK's and find them very impressive.. i can keep up with non cupped 172's on backroads now! and if i'm infront they strugle to keep up wi me till a straight!
And they arent as stiff a ride as some non coilovered cars i have been in!
going on knockhill on the 5th so will let u know what i think then!
