Don't want to hijack the thread but if he was mainly after handling what would people recommend?

I've got some K-Tec coilover's on mine and can't fault them tbh.

They're pretty comfy, a lot more comfy than i expected them to be. It still handle's really well too. The front's will go silly low but the back's not so much. Mine are wound all the way down on the back and it isn't what you'd class as decked.

For the money, i think they're awesome tbh. Don't forget though you will need the camber, toe and alignment setting up. Which is roughly an extra 100 quid. So with any coilover's you need to add that onto the price.

Jonesy i think people generally tend to rate Gaz for track and the like's. Although someone will be along soon to tell you properly :)

You'll also find people have so many mixed view's on coilover's you won't know wtf to buy!! I just decided to go for the K-Tec's and pray. Paid off though.

Don't bother with cheap coilovers. Wait for some second hand decent stuff to appear, or save up for decent stuff. You won't be disappointed.

i need them soon though cos 3 of my original shocks have gone and dont want to waste money on original 1s

Well (imo) you won't get handling and low from cheap stuff. If you want handling/ride to be good, get some Koni adjustables. But they don't lower significantly.

No, you need a laser machine to set up the alignment etc. You need to go to someone who specialises in it.

I'd guess to fit a garage would want £100-£150 to fit them, then roughly £100 to set them up.

Jesus christ Kam, that's incredibly good value!

How do these compare to KW V2's??? I was set on these at the end of the month, but you may have just changed my mind.....
