Coilplugs/packs 1.6 16v.

Evening all.

Well I have had my car just over 2 weeks and number one coil went on my car today. I had if fixed by RAC there and then and paid just under £35 for the part.

My question is how much can I buy these for myself so I can stock up on a couple for the times when they do go, which is inevitable really?

Renault sell them for £40+ so anything less than that - they've 'upgraded' them again to a more well made coil though recently.

Try ebay for £40 you'll get 4 rather than 1 just taking a chance with the longevity of them.

Thanks for that.... Might have a gander on ebay see whats on offer, although I'd prefer to buy them off someone who's got a good reputation and a proper guarantee.

£24+vat each from me, and they are not the shitty Renault ones that fail all the time.

Mike.... I may get in touch within the next week as that seems like a top deal.

Would it be worth while renewing them all at the same time and saving the one the RAC replaced as a spare, or would two be suffice?
