Looking at the following pictures from this thread where the guy had used Collinite on the bonnet: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2963

Thinking of investing in a tin, most likely the #476s the Detergent proof one, but the selection can be found here: http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk/sp/products/polish_wax.php about half way down the page.

Any comments on your experiences and opinions welcome.

Good durable wax Chris.

Only ever used a sample myself.

Brun, Brazo and Shaun have all trialled it a fair bit.

i use it alot, especially in the winter months, its very good durable stuff, shine to me is good also (but i think 95% of the finish comes because of good preperation ), i would recommend you get some and try it, its only about £12 too if you use an approved retailer on DW

Thanks for that shaun, out of the DW retailers I can only find Serious Performance that are selling it at £15.99, I'll put the DW discount to that though.

Cheers

Chris

Love the Collinite:)

#21 topped with Collinite has done me proud over the winter. It looks good, is easy to apply, easy to remove, and as Rich and Sean point out very durable.

Worth every penny of £16 imho:)

Cheers, I've gone to the eBay store and got some other stuff and asked him to do me a price for everything, not sure if I messed the email up though and whether he'll understand it. OOppps

Just like to add my experience. My bro was the one who found about it for me and after he said how great it was great I tried it too. It really does work wonders! Water just runs off the car, and come next time when the car needs washing it takes even less effort! V.good for the winter months! :)

Cheers guys, sounds like a really good LSP. Look forward to getting some on to repel the rain with the forthcoming to be April showers after all this snow business has eventually passed.

Any tips on applying, just coat evenly and buff off to a shine like I've done with my P21s??

Chris

only tips are as for most waxes, i.e apply as thin and as even as possible, then for uniform coverage apply a second thin coat

used it again yesterday, hadnt done for ages

reminded me of how easy on/off it is...........even though it was cold i waxed the whole car, then went around and buffed it off, came off easy
