colour coded door strips

i own a phase 1 172 with the black door strips, do the colour coded ones off a phase 2 fit or the 182 also the chrome 2.0 16v badges, do they fit,
these black ones totally spoil the look of my car, looks like a 1.2 from the side,

the side trims and the crome 2.0 16v badges fit the ph1 172, ill be fitting mine tomorrow

I have done this on mine just a case of swapping them over. Looks miles better than the plastic ones. I am also fitting my colour coded handles and boot lock this wkend, so maybe you could do them next?!

Straight swap, but my old black ones were a bugger to get off. Also, depending on the colour, the chances are that the standard colour coded strips will not match the colour of your 172...

My colour matches perfectly. The old strips slide off. You have to open the door and then slide the front strip back and the back strip to the front.... door handles you have to take out the interior trim and unclip it from the bar.

If you want the ph2 silver 2.0 16v badges you will need the ph2 strips as well as they have the recess in them to clip the badge on. The ph2 badges won't clip onto the ph1 strips.
