Colour Coding on Clios!??

  Mini Cooper
I was looking a buying a Campus Sport, but was really put off by the pathetic attempt Renault make at colour coding it, where they dont smooth it, and it doesnt blend in!!

Ive now gone for an extreme as ive been told its colour coded properly and everything is the same texture, but I aint sure!!

Can anyone clarify!??

It a 1.2 16v 2005 Extreme 4 and I want to know if its properly colour coded like the Sports, etc like ive been told, or if its done the sh*te way like the Campus Sport!?

Cheers

Technically, the bump strips are the same colour, they're just not laquered, giving it a flatter tone. My dad laquered my Cup bump strips, and they are now the same colour as the car. And to answer your question, no, none of the clios have the bump strips laquered, meaning they look a flatter colour.

The last batch of mk2's came with the bump strips colour coded but they weren't smoothed (or lacquered) and still have the 'nobbly' effect on the plastic just like the non-colour coded earlier models. The 172 cup bumper strips weren't lacquered.

The only version of clio 'properly' colour-coded is the 172/182.
