Colour Coding

Here is my clio at the mo:

I'm thinking of getting it colour coded (colour is Oddyssey Blue Pearl)

What sort of money have people paid for colour coding their cars? Looking at the side, front and rear bump strips, plus the rear spoiler.

Also, anyone know of any good, reasonably priced paint shops in and around Essex/Hertfordshire?

Best bet is to go around and get quotes

Could try contacting your local 'cruise' people. There must be loads Essex way. There's a list in Fast Car I think. They'll have people who've done paint jobs on their cars and will recommend a good local bodyshop to get the quote.

On my last clio which was the same as yours, I had the front bumper, rear bumper, side strips, rear spoiler, door handles and mirror base plates (wrong thing to do I know) all done for £390. Got ripped off a bit though because I didn't shop around which was my big mistake.

schwinn where abouts you from, I'm think I might be in the same sort of area as you. Might be worth trying somewhere I know near Colchester, he gave me a really good quote for a repair and colour coding job (which I may have done next year) but he did a full respray in that really light TVR blue, on my mates modded corsa and is colour coding another mates corsa c next year.

Looked alright but it just looked odd as everything was silve, need the black to break it up a bit.

I am actually based in Essex, but going to my Dads house in Hertfordshire so was looking at both areas. Colchester is not too far - what was the place called?

I have a scratch around the rear wheel arch on the left to get resprayed, and was thinking of getting it coded while the car was in for that. Just wondering how much it would cost - £200 seems ok but £390 a bit too much!

Anyone else who has had their car colour coded? Anyone got any before/after pics?
