colour coding??

i have a 1.2 16v clio in the light metallic blue colour, im thinking of colour coding the front bumper strip, back bumper strip, wing mirrors, and door handles, there all plastic, is it ok to spray? will the finish be ok? and what paint and where??

There are guides on here for colourcoding, you'll need to be a pair member to see them though.

Can't be worse than the finish that Renault give them.

The finish will all depend on how well you prep it and how well you spray it. Generally, a novice doing it, it ends up looking a bit crap.

You'll need to sand the texture off then wet-flat it with lighter paper, primer, wet flat again and spray, same again then laquer basically.

If you've sprayed metal before, it's generally the same process except you'll use plastic primer under the high build primer instead of etch.

When you open your door mate drivers side should be a sticker in the dno how to say it but ul see it lol, should have the paint code on that. Or give a paint shop your chassis number i believe.
