hey,like a few of you on here get the odd knocking noises from the suspension,however my mate has a 2002 172 and ever since he bought the car he had a strange knocking noise everytime he went to turn left,however after seeing a few mechanics they advised to get a new driveshaft,he had the driveshaft replaced and still no improvement,last option now is renault to sort it,however when he bought the car it was in a front end crash(not bad) just new front bumper grille etc,were thinking either the previous owner kept quiet over the knocking noise if it happened after the front end incident???
