Competition Help

  Fiesta ST-3
Hi guys I'm looking to enter a local Photo competition with the chance of winning a small price but mainly get my name out there in the comunity.

The competition title is *Tidal*

Now living in Pembrokeshire, where 3 sides of the county are surrounded by water and a National park getting scenic shots won't be an issue with the coast.

Just asking for some inspiration and fresh ideas? As living with it day in day out some times calls for me to take a step back and look whats there.

Boats in a tidal harbour, lying on their side etc?
Buy a fish from somewhere and stick it on the mud as if it had been left behind when the tide went out? Even better if you can prop it up with some sticks (then 'shop them out) to make it look like it is floundering out of water.
or
Get some mates to pose looking dejected with lie-lows, inflatable boats or surfboards stood at the top of the beach looking out along from the top of a beach into the distance with no water to be seen (will only work if the beaches have a lot of difference between high and low tides).
A photo of some mates doing something out of place on the floor between the boats in a harbour when the tide has gone out such as tennis, chess on table or a picnic scene.

Make sure you head down there at the right time and day for some decent light too. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. :)

This won't be hard, your coast shots were class last time

And you also have a Nikon ;)

FLOL at Nikon. Cheers man I don't know if that's what sort of shot they are looking for or some thing random.

ND or GDN + a good location with foreground and background interest, although they might get in-undated with stuff like this.
