component speakers....someone tell me what i need...

if u havent seen the 6x9 thread...
ive got a set of tweeters and door speakers.....but there's no bass whatsoeever
ive been told component speakers will improve my bass a lot without the need for a sub/6x9s
im tryin to keep weight to a minimum hence not bothering with them.
some one tell me what i need? links would be helpfull

Get some decent components and amp them up... power them correctly and you will get a a better sound.

ok.....lemme explain a bit better....im not looking for a loud bass sound.....just something good to counter the stupid ammount of trebble i have lol

turn down the level of treble on your headunit,if your gonna buy new speakers,get some with as lower frequency on them as possible

doesnt work all that well with tweeters in......it just sounds flat

yes and its been on since i had the car lol
look at it this way...ive played with the head unit functions so much adjusted everythign possible and i cant get enough bass to counter the trebble...lol

lmao.buy some new speakers with an extremely low frequency ie. 80hz to 20000kHz iirc
