Compression Test Results..

Cannot decide if I want to keep my car and get the cambelt done or just to move it on. I decided It would be quite handy to know what the engine is like and as far as I know a compression test can give an indication of the engines health.

I took all the spark plugs out, then did cylinder 1-4 spinning the engine for about 3-4 seconds each time.

I know consistancy is good, the results I got were 195PSI accross the board. This sounds a little high to me, but then again I wouldnt know so any comments appreciated!

Also if ive done the test incorrectly, please let me know too!!

Thanks Adam

Its certainly had plenty of oil changes in its 104k mile life with fully synth.
Is there anything else I can check to assess the health of the engine before I go and pay 40% of the cars value for a cambelt + dephaser?
A little nervous about paying all that dough then it dieing 2k miles later.

Thanks Adam
