computer components?

hey ive got an old pc witch is a very decent spec and was hoping to put the stuff into the new pc to give it some more guts. problem is that everything dont fit the graphics card is a agp? i need a pci-e ram is something i need something else lol.
so do anyones know the best place to get rid of these either sell or swap apart from the bay

If your old PC is a very decent spec, it'd all fit. It doesn't, so it's old and past it. Junk. Best thing to do is keep it in one piece and see if someone around here wants it for an internet computer.

I always offload my s**t to my grandparents. My old socket 939 3500+ which is clocked to 3GHz is at theirs now, makes a nice little pc for them as its relativly fast and i can go round and play games on it.

Old computer stuff gets worthless relatively quickly. Mid to Low end new equipment costs peanuts and is generally more capable than top of the range stuff from 2 years ago!

We give shedloads of old PC's away each year at work, just because people wont pay for them and it seems a pity to just bin them, although most end up in a big wheely bin anyway.
