Hi, can anyone advice if I would be able to connect my late 2012 iMac 27" to my Dell Lattitude E7440 laptop using a thunderbolt cable (Mac set to Target Display Mode)? The laptop has what I think is a minidisplay port connection but no idea if this is the same as a thunderbolt connection. Don't really want to waste £30 on a cable to find it doesn't work.
