Connecting Home Theatre System to a PC!?

  Leon Cupra R 225
Equipment - Pioneer Home Theatre Cinema System & Dell Dimension 3100.

Is it possible to connect these so I can play my music in my library(in media player) through my home theatre system?

The Dell speakers and sub are good. But dont come close to the home theatre.

Help much appreciated.

Cheers.

You should be able to connect straight from your line out on your soundcard straight to your AUX input on your home theatre system. Failing that, get a switchbox.

Have a look to see if you have spdif output on the PC. It will either be an optical or coax connection, that's your best bet if you have a home theatre setup.

Yup, cables are on ebay for a few quid, I've got my PC connected to my Sony stereo, have done for years, makes watching films, dvds, tv shows and listening to music a lot better then crappy PC speakers.
