Connecting rod between drivers handle and locking mechanism...how does it go in?

Door locking solenoid was playing up...so took door card off to get to it. Then tried to take door locking mechanism away to allow me to clean it up and better connecting rod fell out. Unsure how to put it back in and have tried a few ways but fucked if I can figure it out....HELP!!!

Lock now works fine but can't open door using exterior handle!!

Don't worry....dangerous (with a torx adaptor) Don't has sorted it. Bloody car :rasp:
