connects2 iphone problem

Hi

right just installed my new connects2 cable.... got one of ebay for 60 so not to bad.

Thing is it stated it was iphone compatable, however it does not charge the iphone! which i have to say i am most dissapointed with. Is there an updated model or cable that charges the iphone. have i got the wrong thing?

Did you get the one with the ipod connector on it or the 3.5mm plug connector?

Do you have a 3g iPhone?

Apple changed the charging method i beleive its now USB only and all the current 3rd party stuff uses firewire, i have a connects 2 adapter to, i beleive they are working on a usb version!

hi got the one with the ipod connector. Seems above is right, and can only charge via usb. Bit sh*t to be honest as 60 bucks for the cable that doenst charge is a bit much. I hope that the new usb version aint mega expensive too.
