Connot Access N70 Gallery!

Ahhh, Having upgraded the firmware earlyer at a Nokia centre (And by the way it allows you to get rid of the Orange Homescreen!) I was in my gallery and all was fine. until one time i tried to get into it and it just doesnt do anything!! Restarted, removed battery etc but its still the same.
Can anyone help?

Try a hard reset -> switch phone off then turn on while holding down 3 * and green key, hold em down until you see summit on screen, either say formatting or choose city, can't remember on N70.

It's a hard reset so that is correct.

I done it but seeing as i sync my contact etc with my pc and always upload my videos and pics to pc its not a problem for me

Got all my contacts, pics and vids backed up so no probs there......just my msgs

A soft reset would have been better for you if you have not created a backup of your data.

You can soft reset your device with the code *#7780# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) so your device will be back to factory setttings. Your personal data will not be erased.

You can hard reset your device with the code *#7370# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) so your device will be as the first day - all data are deleted because the phone is formatted!

Just lost 1200 odd msgs...tho managed to get everything else back...the phone was stupidly slow because of all the msgs i guess....

Yeah my 6630 used to slow down lots once over 1000 messages, my N80 is showing similar signs.
