What have you owned? I've been trying to remember, here's my current list (working backwards);

I had one before the NES, which was a joystick + tape player, no idea what it was though.

Except for my current consoles, my old ones are still at my parents house, in their attic and boxed. I'd love to have a bash on them again one day, but I may ruin the memories. May be nice for my kids to play them in 10+ years.

N64 + Goldeneye = The best gaming years for me.

Dreamcast and N64 were the best of the bunch. LOL when you look at some of these lists, and factor in the high price of games, console gaming suddenly doesn't appear to be quite as cheap as people often think. One could probably maintain and upgrade a PC over the years for similar costs.

N64 or 360 have been the best as they were a big step up from the previous generation. N64 for the graphics (seemed amazing at the time) and 360 for online gaming.
