Content Management Systems

  tiTTy & SV650
Hi guys n gals,

I know there's a fair few IT folks on here, anyone got experience in Content Management Systems?

Basically I have English documents in PDF format and standardised text which goes into these (250+ documents), I have German and Spanish text too and French coming plus more in the future, so want to create PDF's without having to copy and paste it all - far more important things to do with my time!!!

I have a table of what text is used where and a spreadsheet of the text used.

How would I go about automating it? For use on our website and also to give to our foreign distributors?

Cheers all, Rory

try out typo3, its GPL and really easy to use, and as its GPL you can modify the source to fit the needs of your business.

cheers Jon, we already have a content management system which controls our website contents, would it be a bad idea to use something different for this task?

i.e. I could possibly use whats already there to do this for me. Not really got a clue.

are they paper documents or already electronic? and what your saying is you want to keep them in 1 place and automate the addition of further documents?
