Golf GTD Mk7
I've been taking a few panning shots of late, but i'm struggling to get the camera to focus. Kit wise, i'm using a D40 
with a nikkor 18-200mm lens I run the camera on AF-C and the lense has VR enabled, with focus set to auto/manual. The problem i'm having is when you try to focus on the object coming towards you, the red boxes don't always appear in the view finder, and the picture quality is gash. Sometimes it works, sometime not. Even when in the same position, zoom etc. Thoughts?
