has any one, an is it hard, ever put a 1.5 dci engine into a mk2 1.2 ?

Not worth doing. For the time and expense you're better off selling the 1.2 and buying a diesel.

Yes, an old acquaintance did back in about 2003/4

Basically reshelled a crashed diesel into his 1.2, lot of work for not much gain really. He was always convinced he'd made it a flying machine but it really wasn't.

The only conversion worthwhile is a 172 set up but even then these days you're better off buying the real thing they've got so cheap!
