Converting LHD to RHD

Has anyone done a conversion on a new shape clio from LHD to RHD.

I need to know what bits I would need to swap/replace.

Bits that Fred thinks that I will need to replace are as follows:

steering rack
BMC
PAS

Has anyone done this before, and can anyone give me any advice or links to people who have done this in the past.

Bondy said he was working on a none PAS rack I think might be worth dropping him a message as it would be ligther and have more feedback than a PAS one.

I will indeed.

I am planning on converting a cup racer to RHD, I dont know if it has a PAS rack to be honest.

Hello mate, Ive done it.... on a Mk1 16v.

I changed the steering rack, pedal box, brake master cylinder (plus piping). I welded up the existing holes and cut new ones, plus fitted some strengthing around the new holes.

Also had to weld in the steering column brackets, but that was about it. All the wiring is still the same apart from the doors eg, elec window switches are the wrong way around.

Plus the right handed hand brake!!

  Weeman sucks ****

The wipers are already on the wrong side, must to save money in manufacturing costs. Hence the funny mechanism that makes the arm swing out more.

Whats the difference between that and your one yoz, if you stripped it completely, apart from cage etc? Do they have different running gear and such?

its got a different gearbox and the race spec suspension on it which is totally different wishbones and struts and the rear coilovers are actually coilovers rather than a damper and a spring with a height adjustable platform. and i would assume if it had any side windows in it they would be plastic not glass.
