coolant problems??

Hi guys, had a split in the top one of the two of the pipes coming from my coolant bottle and so replaced the pipe, also a new bottle and cap as it was leaking out of the cap. when i next checked my coolant level it had gone down almost to minimum from half way, but there was no leaking or spray over any of the engine bay. There is no water in the oil or anything so i dont think it will be the headgasket. had the radiator checked and theres no obvious splits or dents. Where could it be leaking from?

Iv got sort of the same prob but my one is that my coolant is getting to hot and my fan is not kicking in till 110 - 120 and then the coolant is comeing out of the tank and cap . Think its the temp switch . might be worth checking you coolant temp and temp switch

cheers mate, will have a look, i have noticed my fans arent coming on even after a thrashing? :S is anything wrong there?

where is the temp switch located... is it on the side of the radiator?

My fan is not comeing on till about 110-120 was comeing back from Cheltenham on M way and got stuck in trafic and coolant got to hot and boiled over lost 1.5 L of coolant . Had it plug in to a Snap on Modis and my fan was not cuting in till 115 when it should be about 95

Nope its on the engine block on the gearbox side.

checked the radiators all seem to be fine, but me and josh noticed that the radiator pipes were covered in coolant so im going to get new ones, will hopefully sort my problems, been a pain in the arse this has!!
