Coolant warning light. Interior fans don't work!

So the fans stop working and the coolant light appears on the dash? What should I check first? Shitting car if it costs im not doing it.

Okay this is weird. Was parked up with ignition om and the fans came on and seem to be working on and off when I use them (sometimes work a few times out of 10 they dont) the coolant warning light is still lit up on thr dash though even when they are working.

I had a coolant change a few weeks ago btw not sure if related?

check your heating resister, by your windscreen wiper top left of engine bay

Ive seen this online. The odd thing is its doing it randomly. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Also no one with this problem mentioned the coolant light on the dash (that I could see)
