hi bought my car about mth ago. i need to top up the water coolant levels. im not sure what coolant is in there at the mo, does it matter can i top it up with water coolant from halfords and water. or do i need to use the same one as in there now. Im not sure what it is though?

You can top it up with just water, whatever is in there or any coolant from halfrauds

Your supposed to use type D renault coolent..
Its not expensive so I always recomen/use it.

Ideally it should be mixed in a ratio of 60% anti freeze to 40% water . Too much anti freeze can be almost as bad as too little if the outside temp drops to below freezing .

You can buy anti freeze testers for a few quid if your unsure about the strength of the mixture .
