Cooled glovebox

just been looking at the spec for a 182, think it may have been the French version as it said it had a cooled glovebox?

how does this work do UK imports have this?

Yep all 182 have a cooled glovebox

Inside the glovebox there is a cover which blows air if you flip it across to open it.If you have your climate control on to cool it will cool the glovebox down as well if you have the cover open.

I think renault should mention this in the brochure then for UK buyers it doesnt mention it anywhere.



Didnt know heated seats was an option either again not mentioned in Uk brochures.

I didnt know heated seats were an option either!! Its not on the list on the screen when you pick what you want.

I knew about the glove box though.

A sunroof is an option as well i believe.I know that its not normal to have if the car has climate control and all that but i actually like a sunroof and for a couple of hundred quid id of thought about it if offered.

Whats different about the seats? Coloured stitching?

I know they can have the Cup spoiler and Sat nav.

lol, shame about the heated seats then, and I wish they had kept the coloured stitching from mk1 172, but still think it looks classy in silver on the seats.

You would think they would offer us the heated seat option over here in freezing cold Britain!!!

I used to use a Bravo HGT with heated seats, to be honest I really didnt like them on.

Heated seats arent available on RHD cars. The sunroof isnt available for any country

Blimey! I saw the little blue cover thing in the glovebox the other day in my new 182....I moved it round and thought "what the hell is that!?!"

I have a 172 but im told that its an import, whats the difference between the import 172s and the UK builds? apart from mine was a lot cheaper??

My mums Polo has heated seats, superb! Remember my mate had an Astra arctic with a cooled glovebox

Just alarm as I know, looked under mine (182) and it is waxoiled, and warranty if not bought inside EU.
