Probably a 997 carrera 4s although some of his cars when he was younger were pretty cool, He had a sunbeam lotus with group b rally suspension and loads of engine mods,rs2000, Many golf gti's, couple of m3's. I still think the abarth 500 was the coolest.

503bhp 500ftlb r33 gts/t, sold it a while ago to a lad from Edinburgh who blew the turbo up drag racing. Last we heard of it. Though I saw it on a video on youtube a short while ago with an 106 turbo, turned out not to be in the end though :( love to know where it is now. Probs written off somewhere in someones back garden. I properly love'd that car, gutted when my dad sold it

Dad's also had a punto mk2 hgt abarth, he picked it at a company car. Then sold it and moved onto the skyline, sneaking it in the back there...

And the only car my mam has ever owned, and the only reason I've got my own clio as a first car, I used to drive hers around.
A Renault Clio 1.2 16v dynamique, just under 30,000 miles on the clock, 53 Plate. MINT Condition.

Had a fair few cars inbetween, but this was our family bus which i still think is cool in an odd way. Still have this in the garage.

Current car he is in the process of selling. Had performance manifolds fitted at some point, sounds epic.

Such incredibly gorgeous cars, and not THAT expensive if you're willing to do a bit of work on one. Would absolutely love one.

My gran has one in her garage, Rusted to f**k and pretty much ruined. I was hunting about in there and under a pile of mattresses a tool box and a load of horse stuff i found a car lol!

My mum usually just drove my dad's car but she did have a 1979 Toyota Starlet which is cool in a s**t way, looked just like this but silver with loads of rust.

My dad never held a licence, but when my mum passed her test her first car was a British racing green Triumph Herald,
it was a rotten shed but had serious style.

This isn't it as i'm sure it's long rusted into dust decades ago.

My mum's coolest car is probably the one she has now, a black Benz W124, my dad drives a W202 now, but he used to have a Triumph TR7 and a Escort RS2000.

Simply stunning. I remember one of the dinner ladies at our junior school had one very similar - without the white trim on the tyres and the car itself was white, iirc. Looked brilliant even back then when I didn't really realise what it 'was'.

I remember dad picking the same as this one below (not my pic) literally a month or two after passing my test. Aged 17 and at college, driving around in what was then a 3-year-old Fiesta 1.4S. I thought I was the sh1t!!! :race::eek:

edit - it was the last car I've driven that came with a manual choke, too!

I love it when people own a certain car for donkeys years. Such an antidote to the 3-year-recycle culture that a lot of owners have with their cars!

Looks very well looked after, btw. :)

Its been in the family longer than i have, and propably means more to him :D

Its the family heirloom - some people have sideboards or silver ware given to them, im gonna get a 1972 triumph stag.

My dad had a Calibra. I remember him setting off to work one day in his cavalier and coming home in the calibra lol, I was confused cause he never told us he was getting a new car. He has a framed pic of it somewhere. The ones I remember areXR2Cavalier Calibra Citroen zx (lol)Astra (which went through like 6 wheel changes), this was when he started modifying) He now has a mk4 golf gttdi lowered on rs4's although He liked his rs6's more. Mum has a P reg corsa trip on 17's.

Well my mum hasn't really hada gr8 taste in cars bar two. Which would be the Ford Sierra Sapphire, or Austin Metro (that's because i have one currently lol).

But my dad on the other hand, hada gr8 taste so he continued buying them all through my young life. these were the beautifully built VAUXHALL CARLTONS!!!!! shame it wasnt the lotus :(. And then he he a a quick Audi A6 V6 2.8l LOVELY!!. :)
