cooling fan comes on even after engine has been off for 3 hours

Just noticed this today, not sure if i nocked something or what when changing my plugs and oil but now when i start the engine the cooling fan spins up when i start the engine even if the engine has been sat for a few hours?

Nah I never use the air con.

EDit - now i feel like a dik ha. Yep air con was switches on for some reason, mate must have turned it on this morning and i didnt realise lol.
