Nope, When i saw the needle pointing up i pulled over and turned it off right away. left it with hood up for 30 mins. Started it back up and it was at mid temp, traffic was gone so drove home and it was fine on motorway..
It didn't go all steamy or anything like that and the needle had an extra couple of notches to go before max #, it just scared the poo outa me thinking my nice car my go pop.
Starts up fine no issues, had my mate look over it and he said it looks and sounds fine just that the fan doesn't boot into life and it didn't work when i plugged in a 12V 7AH battery into it..
